We got her!!!

It has been a day! There is too much to tell and we are worn out, but i just wanted everyone to know that we got her at 4:30pm today. It was horrible for about 2 hours. She cried for 2 hours and fell asleep on Mike for about 20 minutes, then woke up in a good mood and we could not believe how she was acting then. She was playing with us and talking, even repeating some American words after us. She then ate some snacks and seemed happy. Then she started to cry again. She does well for about 30 minutes, then starts tearing up again. Its so sad to see her mourn! It breaks our hearts, but she wants to be comforted equally by both of us, which is great.
Anyways, more adoption paperwork tomorrow but we are going to bed now. Hannah fell asleep at about 10pm and we are so exhausted and so is she. I hope tomorrow goes better. Pray that she is able to rest and that tomorrow goes well.
I will post more picutres tomorrow~ and hopefully a video.

Oh guys, it sounds like you've had a whirlwind of a day! She is precious! I will be praying for the whole bonding process. I can't imagine how hard that is for both you and her. The picture of Mike comforting her is priceless. I love it. At least you can move forward and hopefully enjoy the free time ahead! I showed Quincee & Quade the pictures and Quincee has enjoy reading the blog. Of course she noticed that an "i" was not capitalized....that's my little 1st grader for you! I've been letting them see the blog each time so they understand a little better what is happening in your family. I am going to the park with Tammy on Tuesday so we are going to see if Wes would like to go and play with everyone and your mom can come too if she wants. I know it's been hard for you being away from him and I am continuing to pray for that situation----can't imagine! I'm addicted to your blog as I find myself checking often for any updates!! Take care and know that all of us back here are praying for you! Love ya, Branda (for all of us!)

Awwwwwww - - - this adjustment time is hard on ALL of you. Keep on doing what you're doing - - - I can see the love and care in Mike's face, she will FEEL that love from both of you and it will help her through this time that is so foreign to her.

Bless ALL your hearts.

Mike and Michelle,
What a precious time...though difficult, it is good. It is good for her to grieve, and it is good for her to allow you to comfort her. Keep hanging in there. We love you guys and are praying for you.

Ok...I made it all the way to the end without crying...then I saw the picture of her with Mike and I lost it! :) We went through this same thing with Kaeleigh because we didn't get to see her until she was a year old. It's so hard. You guys are awesome, though, and it won't take her long to realize that!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I am so glad you arrived safely. Sounds like you are having some rough and sweet times all at once. I loved seeing the pictures of everywhere you've been already. I sure hope Hannah can pick up on your unconditional love for her and begin to trust and love you as much as you love her. Maybe she's going through some sleep deprivation, too! It will all be worth it in the end. Much love, the Yonkmans.

She is sooo precious! Troy and I have had you in our thoughts all day today and when we got home from church the first place we went was to the email so that we could see pictures of Hannah! Elena was excited to see Wes's new sister. I hope you were able to get some rest last night and that every day will get a little better as Hannah begins bonding to her new family! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Shell and Mike,
Little Hannah is adorable! We've been in contact with 409 Blakewood about everything. We are all very excited and hoping you all get some sleep which will help everything. Ava and Livvy can't wait to play with their new cousin!
